My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is harper and i am an 8 mo old black lab. I was found dumped on the side of a road just wondering in Texas. I somehow got to the shelter where to everyone else i was just another black dog. Invisible to everyone that saw me. No one ever sees us black dogs... even black labs. The nice lady who is part of this rescue one night was scrolling and just saw a black dog with sad eyes (me)... knew nothing about me.. not my age, health, breed... but sent a message to the awesome lady who helps us dogs here and said "i am taking that black dog please get him out and send me his info". You can even see how happy I am now that I am out ( they have my shelter pictures in my photo album) And here I am! I am a super sweet boy and so happy now that I am out of the shelter. It was so loud and scary in there. I wasn't going to make it out. Now i am in an awesome boarding place and get to play and run around all day! Even though I am happy and having fun I would really love to have a family of my own.. one that loves me and doesn't abandon me. I am a great family dog, i love to go on walks, hikes, and play fetch!
