My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update: As of February Paco Man has completed his heartworm treatment and is now heartworm negative. We have discovered that he does have a heart murmur and he is now on meds but it's two little inexpensive pills a day and he is doing fine.
Paco Man is a sweet senior that was biding his time at a local animal control facility. He was being overlooked because of his age and because he is heartworm positive and it's a shame because he's a great little dog with an easy going personality and lots of love to give. Because he is small and a senior our vet has recommended the slow kill method of treatment for his heartworms so we have started him on Heartgard and Doxy.
The next step is to fill out an online application. Once we have reviewed your application we will get back to you as soon as possible. We have the right to decline an application if it is not a good fit for that particular animal.

All of our dogs are fostered in our homes so we know their temperaments. They are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots, de-wormed, heartworm tested (and treated if necessary), and on flea and heartworm prevention. Our adoption fee begins at $195.00 for all of our dogs and puppies. Our goal is to match our animals to the best home possible. Please email info@cofas.org for more information. You can also fill out an application at www.cofas.org
