My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, world! Many of you have already met and fallen in love with me … and who can blame you? For those you don’t know my history, you can read all about it on my GoFundMe fundraiser. Let’s just say, I was thrown out of a car at Waffle House in September 2018 by my not-so-nice previous owners. It injured my back/hips and I couldn’t walk. I went to the shelter, then to Covington Animal Hospital, where I spent several months getting lots of TLC and laser treatments.
And now? I’m at rescue and can walk like a happy l’il champ! I’m also ready to embark on my next great adventure, i.e. my forever home where I will be loved and cherished for the sweet boy that I am … and, trust me, I am su-weet! You’d think I might be a little timid or leery with people after what I’ve been through, but nope! I have kisses (and kisses and kisses) for every one (person or dog) I meet. I literally bounce around, happy as can be, and bring smiles to everyone.
Now to the important stuff for potential adopters … I am still a little “fragile” and may be for some time. I could easily get injured again, so it’s important that I go to a home where there aren’t any larger dogs or children who could play too rough with me. I am great with other dogs, though, especially happy-go-lucky “chill” ones like me. Andi and I get along beautifully.
I will also need to go back monthly for laser treatments for a l’il bit. (We’re not exactly sure of the time frame.) The rescue will, of course, pay for these treatments. I’ll just need you to take me for my appointments in Covington. If you’ve seen me at them, though, you’ll love to go with me. I’m adorbs in my little sunglasses .. and I have nothing but kisses for everyone there.
Overall, I’m healthy as can be. I’m about two years old and 14-15 lbs. of pick-me-up-and-let-me-kiss-you fun. Seriously … I like to give kisses … and clean ears … You’ve been warned.
