Meet Sonic, named for Sonic the Hedgehog! He's a scruffy boy, and we've never had a scruffy in our program before. Fluffies, scruffies and littles tend to get adopted or pulled by a rescue pretty quickly, so there has never been a scruffy available during our temperament testing process — until now, that is!
Sonic was Saber at the shelter. He is about 2 years ol d, and a little under 40 pounds. He could stand to put on just a few pounds, so 45 pounds will probably be his top weight. We believe him to be a border terrier / patterdale terrier mix. We adore this boy - he is happy, engaging and affectionate, in the gentlest way. He dearly loves attention and gives the sweetest of kisses. This boy would probably be a fit for just about any home that loves dogs. He is very calm and patient, so he would probably be great with children of all ages. He is highly affectionate, so he would be a great best friend for a single person. He is great with other dogs, so a multi dog household would probably be just fine with him. Sonic is just a great all around dog, and we are so happy to have him in our program!!
