Hi, my name is Smokey and I'm 6 years old. I thought I'd found my forever home 5 years ago, but my dad encountered some bad luck and he had to give me back to my foster mom. Unfortunately, he also gave me too much food so I'm a bit porky right now. My foster mom has me on a very healthy diet and the pounds are starting to come off! Pretty soon I'll be my handsome self again! I am the sweetest dog EVER! I am terrific with all other dogs and don't even notice kitties. I'm housebroken, crate trained, (though I don't need one at all), and am just an all-around sweetheart of a boy. I'd be good in a hiking home, a home with kids, or with someone who wants a snuggle-buddy watching TV and sleeping in bed with them. Don't YOU want to give me my second chance at a forever home?! I sure hope so!
