My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tabatha was a kitten that was adopted and cared for by a golf cart service department. They cared for her giving her food, water, and affection. They noted she is a sweet kitten. They asked us to rescue her versus sending her to a shelter where she could be euthanized. We are unsure on her exact age but she may be 8- 12 months old.

However, the gold cart service center did not give her medical care. When we got her, we found out she was a pregnant teenager. (Female cats can get pregnant by 4 months and have their first litter by 6 months!) We were able to abort the litter. We do this because there are so many already born living cats and kittens being euthanized in animal shelters every day. By doing an abortion, we help reduce the amount of unwanted pets and give the animals a chance in competing for the limited supply of new loving homes. Please educate others about the importance of spay and neuter to help end pet overpopulation!

She is now spayed and vaccinated. This is a cat being fostered in a private home by our cat rescue. The cat will not be available to meet until the adoption event, but we will have updates on our blog, Facebook and our newsletter.

At the adoption event, there will be an interview to discuss whether you understand and are willing to take on the responsibilities involved with owning a cat. The first qualified person interested in an animal will be able to adopt the feline(s). If people have indicated interest in advance, we will go through that list of names first before adopting to anyone who is present at the event.

If you are interested in adopting, please contact Baby Bobby's Meow House Rescue at info@babybobbysmeowhouserescue.org and learn more at http://babybobbysmeowhouserescue.org/adoption.html.
