My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Maggie. I just turned 6 yrs old and I feel fantastic! . I came to rescue as my former Mom had some life changes and she wanted the best for me, so she reached out to WRNT!. I have a little allergy on my lower tummy and I am being treated for that. I am awaiting my big girl surgery next week and I will be ready to find my very own furever home.
I Do well with the 4 westies in my foster home, I love to play with toys, have a great appetite and I appear to be housebroken to doggy door. My needs for a furever home involve a fenced yard to run and play and a warm bed at night to snuggle in. along with keeping me up to date on heartworm prevention every month. I am 19 pounds and full of playfulness!. All my shots and tests up to date.
Get your applications in at www.wrnt.org and mention me Maggie. If you have an application in already you can send an email to info@wrnt.org and let the folks in rescue know you are interested.

Quick Note--- if you are sending an email asking you want to meet our dog, you MUST submit an application first at www.wrnt.org. All the information we need to know and the information you need to know about the process is on the adoption tab on www.wrnt.org.

**IMPORTANT NOTES**
*All of our adoptable dogs are small, and they are never to be left outside alone, ever! We only rehome our dogs to adopters that plan to have them as inside dogs and part of the family! . There is no
exception to this rule!
*NO SMALL CHILDREN!! As with almost all the dogs at WRNT, young children under the age of 8 is not recommended. Many of our dogs come to us BECAUSE of small children, thus we do not rehome our dogs to homes with babies or young children.
*We do not guarantee that any of our adoptable dogs are housetrained. While most should be easily trained, keep in mind they may not be in your home for awhile. Even if they were surrendered to us as housetrained, it doesn’t mean they will automatically be housetrained in your home. Housetraining them should be easy in the right home with time, patience, and consistency.
*Only adopters with a responsible dog ownership history and excellent vet reference need apply. If you bring this pet into your heart and home, you will receive in return many years of love, companionship, and loyalty. That’s our guarantee.
