My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Auggie: 10 month old Standard Schnauzer, male, 44 lbs.

I was surrendered by a very loving father that was traveling too much for work to provide me with the time and care that I needed.

I have a very happy go lucky personality and love to be with my people every minute that I can. My adorable facial expressions, big eyes and jet black puffy beard will make the grumpiest person’s day. I can be a bit of a lug and clumsy but am eager and willing to follow commands such as, sit, paw, stay, off, leave it and come. I am big and strong and very much a PUPPY.

I do require a patient and firm handler that will continue to work with me through the remainder of my puppy days. Continuing to work on my training is half the fun as it gives me a job and allows me to bond with my family.

My foster family has really enjoyed watching me grow. I am housebroken and crate trained. I walk well on a leash. I love to play tug a war and chase with my furry siblings. I love to run around like crazy with them but can also settle down with them when we all get tired out or mom says so. I also love my time with my humans playing fetch, following them everywhere and just relaxing with them. I love my daily walk(s) with my mom.

I do require a (physical) fenced yard. I think I would do best in a home with children 12 years or older due to my strength. I would do fine with one other dog or by myself as I don’t mind having my humans all to myself. My mom and dad think I am a lot of fun especially for an active household.
Fostered by Karen & Steve in Strongsville, OH.

My adoption fee is only $600.
