Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Henry is a 20 month old handsome red boy who has a striking white blaze down his chest. Weighing in at a small 10.5 pounds, he is a bundle of fun looking for a forever home. Henry requires a home with a fenced yard, no children under the age of 15 and someone home with him most of the time. He would not do well in a home where he would be left alone a great length of time daily. Henry is available to dachshund experienced homes only.
Henry is ready to explore everything! He loves people, other dogs and loves to play with toys. His favorite activities include chasing geckos in his foster home's yard in Florida.
Henry is not a barker and loves lap time and to cuddle. He knows how to get into his crate when it is time to eat or sleep. A typical dachshund, Henry loves to burrow under the covers in the big bed. Henry would love a home where he could have big bed privileges but also does very well sleeping in his crate.
Henry is a special boy who has been bounced around from home to home. The product of a hoarder, Henry has never received the care and attention he needs. Despite his age, Henry is like a rambunctious puppy who has just started his training. Henry is in a wonderful foster home in Florida. In his foster home he is learning housetraining (a work in progress) and leash training (a work in progress) . He is working on his manners and is learning that he cannot jump up except when given permission. (Tap your thighs)
Henry is a gorgeous little boy who needs love and patience. Do you have a large heart and time to help Henry be the wonderful adult we all know he can be? Apply today!
