My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bear is a 9 year old Yellow Lab Mix. Bear loves to ride in the car and follow you around. He is good off leash, staying with you and coming when he is called. His favorite part of the day is to ride around on the side-by-side checking on the horses and cats. Bear gets along with other dogs with proper introduction, but would also be happy to be an only dog if you have time to shower him with affection.

Bear is looking for his forever home. Bear takes a little time to warm up to new people and may act aloof upon the first meeting. Once he gets to know you, Bear is very affectionate and loyal. He loves a good belly scratch and will cuddle up to you as well. Bear would do really well in a home with some acreage, but is happy to be a house dog as well.

Bear has been introduced to horses, goats, llamas, sheep, chickens and turkeys. He checks on them and then goes off to explore something else. He doesn't bother the animals and is happy just to hang out around them.

Bear is house broken and will alert you when he needs to go out. He is okay on a leash, doing better off leash.
