My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nyx is a 4 yr. old gentle giant. This sweet boy tips the scales at 106 lbs. Even with his delicate mellow nature, he is a bit too large and at times clumsy for small children, but should do fine in a family with older kids. Nyx is wonderful with other dogs and is a very polite house-guest. He respects boundaries and would never dream of breaking the rules, with the exception of assuming he was allowed to snack on food left near table edges. His foster mom is working on his leash manners as he seems unfamiliar with the practice and tends to use his weight to get to where he wants to go. He is getting accustomed to a Gentle Leader and a harness as he gets this whole idea of leash-walking down! This amicable fellow loves everyone he meets and is the epitome of a Velcro Doberman. He is crate trained and although enjoys quiet nap times in his crate, it is in no way a necessity. Nyx is a healthy boy but he does take an inexpensive daily thyroid maintenance medication.
