Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Giovanni is a 1 year old neutered male who came into the shelter on 2/16 as a return. He was adopted from CACC in July 2018.

Giovanni needs someone to take him on a 5 mile run. That may wear him out. He's a young guy who has lots of energy and unfortunately he's not getting the exercise he needs at the shelter. He loves to bounce around the playlots and play with soft squeaky toys. Giovanni does these really cute army crawls when he's taking a break fro play. He loves taking treats and he takes them well. Giovanni needs an active home - maybe thats your home? Come meet him soon!
Giovanni is like your annoying little brother; he wants all of your attention and he’s all over the place but boy is he cute! When I first walked up to his portable he was asleep on his back with his paws in the air, so I woke him up gently by just saying hi — he was ready to go from there! All tail wags. Giovanni is a little guy who is easy to handle, walk (and carry!), etc. It was his first time outside at the shelter today and he was vocal when passing the other dogs who were out (although he was not vocal in the pavilion walking past other dogs). Giovanni is jumpy and all over the place at first; he will jump up for attention, he can be mouthy, and doesn’t seem to know any commands but is very gentle taking treats. His ability to focus when there’s a treat in your hand is astounding! I’m sure this kid will be easy to train. After some more time outside with me, Giovanni started to get the hang of playing fetch which he really seemed to enjoy. He definitely chilled out after a while and crawled into my lap for kisses and cuddles. This dog has tons of potential!
