At Ken-Mar Rescue, MERLOT takes his job of Canine Ambassador seriously.
MERLOT takes the lead of making sure that all friends and family feel comfortable.
MERLOT enjoys taking quick breaks to rest on the quiet, shady front patio with the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. But once a car comes up the drive into the driveway, MERLOT is at the ready, tail wagging, smile grinning, and ready for the ensuing love fest and happy dance.
Once MERLOT settles down enough his true personality comes out. MERLOT is most content listening to whatever you want to share with him. MERLOT is a great secret keeper and does not engage in rumors or small talk.
MERLOT will make a joyful best friend to a very lucky dog lover. At home alone on his favorite part of the sofa, he keeps watch over the neighborhood.
MERLOT would do best with a seasoned pet parent, preferably as an only child in an "adults only" home.
MERLOT loves to play and is a great walking buddy!
