My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Haley is a beautiful, sweet little 1 year old Shepherd mix. She is super loving, loves all people and other dogs. She's very smart and is being trained in Canine Good Citizenship. She is doing great in her training. She will graduate on 3/23/19 from Gaston Correctional's New Leash on Life Class. FurBabies is in partnership with The NC Department of Public Safety and Haley is in the current class. It is a WIN/WIN/WIN... A WIN for the Inmates because they have the opportunity to work with the animals, which gives them a purpose and an opportunity for employment when they are released from prison, a WIN for the dog because it receives it’s Canine Good Citizenship training and of course a WIN for the new owner who gets and absolutely amazing highly trained rescue dog.
