Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pajamas – Pajamagram – Pajama-rama
Is READY for her forever home
4-5 year female redbone bloodhound

I was lost and alone on a highway in the east mountains of NM. After wandering around for I’m not sure how long I laid down on the highway and gave up. Animal Control picked me up and took me to the shelter. I was full of stickers, so they shaved my sides which made me a bit more comfortable and put me in a kennel. But soon enough things turned around for me, a kind sole took my picture and sent it to my soon to be foster dad. (he had no idea what he was in for). He took one look at me and immediately came to my rescue. He brought me home, and then contacted SCBC.

I am good with cats, dogs and kids
I am spayed, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and have all my shots up to date.
I am crate trained, although I prefer the couch, I am COMPLETELY house broken –
I walk well on a leash - My foster Mom calls me Rosie, because she says I have a whole lotta Rosie.
I currently tip the scales at 109, my ideal weight is approx 90 lbs., so I’ll need lots of long walks.
My foster Dad says I have a wobble bottom because of the way my booty moves when I walk. I have a habit of looking over my shoulder when HE walks me, just to make sure he’s still back there.
I know sit and paw.
Although I am fine with my step sisters of which I have 3, I don’t require a dog playmate – I prefer the company of my person, and will sit on your lap if you’ll let me.
I am not a counter surfer – but like a typical hound I do have a little bit of a stubborn streak. It has a lot to do with my crate time – so I’ve manage to bust out more than once. Like I said, I prefer the couch.
This is one SWEET gentle girl who would like nothing more than to find a family who will love her forever. Ah, don’t forget about the couch, that’s not negotiable.

We’re still getting to know pajamas – if you’re interested in hearing more about her and adding her to your family please contact us.
