Greta Garbo's famous line..."I vant to be alone..." is nothing at all like our Greta!
Fast and funny, smart and playful this little lady is her foster mom's pride and joy.
Greta originally came from Alabama. But she has planted new roots here in the north and so far has been enjoying herself. She is sharing a foster home with 2 labs who act as her foster brothers. One of the labs, Wyatt is a player and it just so happens Miss Garbo loves to play !
Greta can be timid and shy at first meeting. She is quickly becoming familiar with the house routines and that is helping build confidence. The labs help tremendously with taking her into the pack and making her feel more at ease.
Greta doesn't even mind the winter cold when she plays in the backyard. When she runs outdoors it's like watching a Whippet with her elongated strides and when she plays with Wyatt indoors, her moves are like that of a Boxer.
Greta would do great with another easy-going, playful dog in the home to play with and takes walks. That dog would help Greta ease into a new and permanent home life.
Once given a basic command, Greta is extremely obedient and loves her walks.
Although Greta may still be a little unsure of what is going on all around her, she needs a person/family with patience and understanding and who would love to have her laying next to them on the couch at the end of the day.
Greta will need to have a completely fenced yard.
Greta is a Weimaraner/Whippet mix, 10 months old, 38 pounds, UTD on vaccinations, housebroken, spayed and micro chipped.
