My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wren is a very sweet little Chihuahua that was saved from a small town, fast kill dog pound. She is around 6 months of age and only weighs 4 pounds. Wren is incredibly sweet, gentle and loving, without the stereotypical Chihuahua temperament. Wren was very shy and quiet when we first got her. We picked her up and loved on her every chance we got, and within a few days she became comfortable with the new environment. Because Wren is so small, we have to protect her from any larger dogs that can play too rough and accidentally hurt her. So Wren goes potty on pads in the bathroom, and has to stay in her crate or gated in the bathroom if she cannot be watched or held. Wren would love a home where she can run free in the house and play and explore without danger of being hurt. She should only be paired with other very gentle dogs around her same size. A home without small children is required Wren is crate trained but does need other training and socialization. Again, we stress that she is very small and delicate. She must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that can hurt her. She must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider her dinner. Wren must be in the house as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and needs a secure safe area to run and play.

Wren is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She is negative for heartworms, and has been started on heartworm and flea preventative. Wren has a $150.00 adoption fee. Please contact 2 Many Dogs Rescue for an adoption application if you are interested in adopting this very sweet little girl.

We do adopt out of state and Wren can be shipped to the northeast via ground transport for a total cost of $500.00 (including adoption fee).
