My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Corky the Cocker is a pure bred cocker spaniel who is between maybe 5 and 7 years old.

Full grown, he weighs almost 23 pounds.

He is a very handsome fellow who is gentle, loving, affectionate, and great with all my other foster doggies, big and small.

Corky is very friendly and loves everyone.

Poor Corky was raised with a very nice older lady who died, and there was no one to take Corky, so he ended up with a rescue, who brought him to me. The amazing thing about Corky is that he is SO friendly and adaptable that he fit right in my little menagerie immediately!

He is a fluffy little doll with the most beautiful golden and white curly coat – his coat is soft and wavy and wonderful!

Corky walks well on a leash, and he won’t eat your shoes or chew your sofa!

He is very, very mellow, sweet, and affectionate.

Because Corky is used to having people around, he is lonely by himself, so he would do best with someone who can be home a lot and give him a lot of attention and love. He just wants to be with his humans all the time! He is a great size to take with you wherever you go, and he will be better off with you than home alone, bec he just may bark when he gets lonely.

Of course, Corky is neutered and has had all of his shots – he also had a vet check, and he’s a healthy little fellow who could easily live to be 12 to 15 years old.

I am a firm believer in allowing people to take a new buddy home for a “sleepover", just to be sure your family, your other pets, and handsome little Corky all get along. Of course, we ALWAYS take out rascals back, if things don’t work out.

To meet this lovely and unusual pure Cocker Spaniel (and maybe even have a sleepover), pls call
