This stunning boy is Justus, a Pit mix born in 2015, who came into rescue from Texas - found chained, with no fur, eyes filled with mucus, skin raging from infection from neglect and abuse, unable to use his back legs and left on a blanket to die. An MRI determined that blunt force trauma caused a fracture to his spine that was never treated. With intensive physical therapy, our strong-willed warrior with the now-gorgeous coat is running, playing and ready for a home of his own! Justus absolutely adores his humans, including older children, but needs to be the only pet in his home. And he is reactive to loud noises, so his home should be in a quiet suburb with a yard. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
