Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Apollo. His name really should be Chance or Risk because he needed just one more chance for a home of his own and someone to take a risk to help him get there.
If Apollo’s life could be defined with a single word it would be confinement.
Apollo is a smart boy with a ton of potential. He does ok with other dogs but he prefers to be with his human and he doesn’t really like to share. He could live with other dogs providing the other dog is more emotionally mature then he is at this time.
Apollo HATES to be alone. He likes to quietly follow his person around the house and wait for them.
He does great in the car and he does perfect free inside the house alone. He will go inside a crate but he suffers from PTSD from all his previous crated days and is very unhappy.
Apollo has below average energy for a border collie. He would do well in a home where leashed walks were all that was available some days. However, he does excellent with off leash trail walks too.
