Phoebe is Adopted
Phoebe is currently being fostered in Mentor OH and her adoption fee/donation is $250
Phoebe is a 6 yr old female maltese, she came to our rescue from a puppy mill in central Ohio, so we don't have any history on her.
Phoebe came to us very scared and timid, she was extremely withdrawn and inverted, but she is gradually coming out of her shell.
She has actually started running and playing in her foster home.
Her houseteaining skills are still not great, but it will take time, mill dogs can take a bit longer to housetrain.
Phoebe is friendly and affectionate with her foster mom, but strangers still scare her.
She is good with other dogs, and would not be good as an only animal.
She is a follower, and needs at least one other dog in the home to help her to come out of her shell.
She will need a patient adoper, a person willing to give her whatever time she needs to adjust.
She would also be best fitted in a home that has a fenced in yard.
Phoebe is spayed, up to date on vaccines, had a dental and is microchipped.
