My name is Tomas and I am about 4 yrs. old! They tell me that I am so handsome with beautiful green eyes. I hear them say that I have FIV. I don't know what that is - I feel great! I am a very friendly and affectionate gentleman who loves people and being petted. I am good with other cats, too. Did I say that I LOVE to be snuggle and to be held? I would love someone who wants company during their day and someone who would like to have me as their friend, nearby them.

FIV or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus is an incurable virus that can cause the immune system of infected cats to be compromised. FIV is not spread through casual contact such as shared food/water/litter, mutual grooming, or playing. It is most commonly spread through deep, vicious bite wounds typically inflicted by intact toms fighting on the streets over food, females, or territory. Even though FIV and HIV are similar, humans are NOT at risk for contracting the virus from an infected cat. These kitties can live long, healthy lives!!!
