My story

This handsome fellow is house trained and loves to be with his person. He is loyal and loving. Born in December 2011, Rocky weighs about 65 lbs. He is a solid, stocky fellow who would love to be a lap dog if he wasn't so big. Big or not, he still likes to cuddle. He enjoys riding in the car and going for long walks. He LOVES to fetch and is eager to please, usually carrying a squeaky toy in his mouth to invite you to play. He gets along with most female dogs and is good with people. He isn't fond of screaming, pinching toddlers, but is fine with older children and adults of all ages. Rocky is a loving, loyal fellow who deserves a great forever home where he will be appreciated for the terrific dog he is. He will make a fantastic Prince Charming if you give him a chance.

Additionally pets are taken twice monthly to pet store for adoption events. Dates and locations are posted on our website and Facebook page.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
