My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our Beautiful Young Gracie is ready to find her forever.
Past ready really!!! (We all know Karen is slow to move too much of the time) It is time for her to fly her foster nest and get a family who is ready to call her their own.

Gracie is beautiful and nursed back to full health by her foster Mom Frankie who has been amazing in her care. We realize that Gracie will be a little bit of work for her new owners and we want you to know what she will need.

Gracie was diagnosed with EPI. She does require a certain food and she requires a monthly medication. We have strictly gone with our vets recommendation for both to get her body good and very healthy. However someone with EPI knowledge may know easier, cheaper ways to ensure she remains healthy and in good shape. As we had no experience with this EPI we didnt tamper or move away from recommendations.

With that being said this girl is BEAUTIFUL. She is sweet. She snuggles. She has done well with almost every other dog she encounters but really dislikes her foster brother. This is unusual and we have not been able to pin point the reason.

Dames will sponsor the adoption fee to find the right home for her. You will still require application and a home visit in order to qualify. She will make a great family dog, loves kids and she will continue to be healthy in the manner she is with the proper care. There is no reason she cannot live just as normally as every other Dane out there. A sprinkle of special powder on her dish and she is good to go.

Please go to www.damesfordanes.org under forms and apply to adopt. Who knows this girl could be sleeping on your couch next month!!! And you wont regret it!!!
