Tipper's story is incredibly sad. His first family bought him as an Easter bunny three years ago, but they lost interest in him long before they surrendered him. He was filthy when he came in; he had a big bald patch from a severe fur mite infestation, and the poop caked to his genitals was infested with maggots. He went to the vet the same day he came to the shelter. His first few weeks with BunnyPeople were spent in foster care, where he needed THREE prescriptions in addition to pain-relief medication.
