My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winston is a unique chunky scruffy, Airedale/Beagle being only a guess, lol, who should mature to a larger medium size. 6-7 months old at this time, weighing 33 lbs and still growing, he was pulled from a high intake facility in Houston and has now arrived to RI seeking his forever home. He is a great family dog and highly trainable, learning very willingly and well. He absolutely loves kids and would be well suited to them, but also is a higher energy boy so requires continued training and plenty of exercise! Winston loves to play, but ala the Airedale temperament is pushy and can make a pest of himself. He would do well in the home of a larger confident dog, likely less so with something smaller and soft, and will benefit from puppy socialization classes. We encourage you to submit an application along with your initial inquiry - this listing will be updated as soon as he is adopted.
