Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a 2 year old male Weimeraner/Bluetick Coonhound we need to rehome. He is crate trained, housebroken, has good recall, knows basic commands & more, loves people, is a pleaser, a super velcro-dog. We often care for our 19-month old granddaughter and at 82 lbs he is too much for her. He has developed a resource guarding pattern with his chews and his food so we feed him in the garage away from the toddler & Boston Terrier.. He has done well with our older grandkids who are upper elementary and middle school age fetching balls, following them even into the pond, whining if they disappear under water. Because we sometimes have the toddler for 24 hours 2-3 days in a row, we feel the need to rehome. He likes to play with our cat, but the cat is less enthused. ;-) He enjoys our granddogs who visit and a Catahoula mix who visits, bowing and showing appropriate play behavior. His tail is a happy flag & he will give up a soft bed to lay near his humans. He loves to carry 6ft long limbs
