Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Louis is a 4.5 year old, poodle bischon mix. He is a great dog who doesn’t shed, is house trained, low energy, knows commands (sit, down, stay), walks on leash well, and is very loyal/protective especially of women. Louis’ only issue is his anxiety around men and new people that come into the home. We adopted him 3 years ago from a family who had several male teenagers in their home. Based on his behavior, I would say that one of the male teens was mean to him. His anxiety is evident by his barking and skiddish nature. He has never bitten anyone, but has made me think he might before. He would be best matched with an elder lady, widower, or home with no adult males who doesn’t have a lot of visitors. He has never been mean to my 9 year old son and lets him pick him up, etc. He barks and has anxiety if we have guests over. He is very loyal, protective and loves to cuddle. His crate is his safe haven and will come with him along with all belongings we have for him.
