Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a 7-month-old neutered male Chihuahua mix. I weigh about 5 pounds. I am sweet, loving, gentle and very quiet. I'm also pretty cute! My friends say that I look like a meerkat. I've also heard raccoon, though. I think that's because of the black patches around my eyes. I think I look like a chihuahua, but whatever! I get along great with other dogs and I love my human companions.It takes me a little time to warm up to new environments. I can be a little shy when meeting people, but I open up really quickly! My cautiousness probably has something to do with my past. Unfortunately, my life has not been filled with love and attention from people who care about me. Before arriving here, I was living on the streets in south LA. Someone found me living between some junky old cars on a not-so-nice street. I was brought to south los angeles pound. It was loud and scary! I was put in a cage with a bunch of dogs I didn't know...I thought I would never get out of that place. Until one cold rainy day Cagefree stopped by and saw me shivering in the back of my cage and decided to bail me out! I was so sleepy & tired when i first got here I didn't make a peep I was so happy to be cuddled in safe warm arms.
CageFree is a lot of fun! Instead of hiding between cars and scouring the streets for food, I spend all my time hanging out with my friends on the playground. It's great! I'm not going to lie, it has been a weird journey so far, but I am looking forward to starting my new life with a family of own. I am definitely a lap dog so I'm hoping to find someone that likes to snuggle. I'm also the perfect size for traveling! If you are looking for a dog that you can take everywhere with you, I am your guy. I think the exposure would be great for me, too!
