Biscuit is a very affectionate cat that loves human contact. He has belonged to my aging mother his entire life; however, my mother is no longer able to care for a cat. Whenever my wife, kids or I visit, Biscuit is eager to greet us and rub up against our legs. When I sit on the couch or a chair, Biscuit always approaches to be pet or scratched under his chin. He doesn't scratch the furniture, and he is trained to use a litter box. Biscuit is low maintenance with no medical needs.
He's a very gentle cat. He's always been good with my kids and my mother. My mother used to keep an injured bird that she would let wander around the house, and Biscuit lived happily with it, sometimes taking naps together. He also lived with another cat. He's frequently on the move about the house, following wherever the people go, but he's not super active. He's also a very quiet cat. The only time I hear him speak is when he's about to be fed, although he quietly purrs when you scratch him under his chin.
