Every once in awhile we let the dogs write their own bio. Here is Franklin's story:
Hello my name is Franklin and I am about 1 1/2 years old. My foster mom sometimes calls me Elvis cuz”I ain’t nothin but a hound dog”(mix)and I’m looking for a furever home.
I don’t mind being home alone ( or with my foster brother) I’m not a chewer, but I do like to hang out in the kitchen sometimes when my foster dad is cooking. sometimes he “drops” something for me... I get along with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’m a really shy fellow, especially if I don’t know you, but once I feel comfortable, I am a lovable hound dog! I love being with my foster parents. I love being out in the backyard. I watch for all the wildlife and like to run and chase them (even tho I know I can’t catch them,as there is THAT fence and it separates us)
I spend a lot of the day just chilling out in the front room, sleeping on the couch or looking out the window with my foster brother Freebie, but I also love to sleep in my foster parents bed, with or without them😬 I like to ride in the car. I like to play with my toys and I love my special treats! Is there room in your home and heart for me?
Franklin has been fully vaccinated and currently ending his heart worm treatment and should be testing negative in a month or two. Rescued from a terrible situation, Franklin has been a dream of a foster dog and his foster parents really want him with his own family so they can foster another dog in need.
Can we schedule a Meet and Greet soon? I am so wanting a family of my own <3 A pre-adoption application and home check will be required.
