My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Ebony. I am a shy girl that needs time and patience from my adopters as I adjust and get settled into my new home. I like to hide, preferably in blankets and sometimes I'll pop my head out to say hi. Most of the time I'm a little too scared to venture out though. I might be more comfortable once I'm in my new home for awhile and get to know all the sounds, sights, smells, and layout of everything. It might be easier for me to go on adventures after I'm comfortable and not as scared. Until then I will need my people to understand that it may take awhile to come out of my shell and really interact fully. I am such a sweet girl, but you need to let me come to you in my own time or else I get a little nervous and hide again. I will most likely be good with other nice cats and maybe respectful older kids and dogs, but I need to be introduced slowly and properly so I don't get overwhelmed. It would help if I have my own space I can go to if I get too upset where they can't reach me.
