Hello, my name is Bert. I am sweet and calm. I can be a little shy so I ask that people take it easy with me and greet me slowly so I don't get scared. I may grow out of that once I'm in my forever home and get comfortable with my people and surroundings, but I could also be a shy kitty my whole life. I want to be accepted for whatever my personality happens to be. I am very mellow and can sometimes hide a little bit, but I'm friendly and like affection and to be petted. I will be ok in most any home as long as you give me time to get adjusted to whatever that home life might entail. I am good with kids and cats, and probably dogs but I'm not sure. As long as they let me have my own space when I need it we should be fine. And it helps if you introduce us slowly and the right way too. I have a brother, Ernie, that I hope I can get adopted with, But we don't have to go together. We would just really like it if we could! We could be double the adorable!
