My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Millie wants to be loved...she just does not know how to fully yet. I got her from a farm in Ohio about a year and a half ago where she was only allowed outside. She must have been punished when she tried to go inside. When I brought her home, I had to carry her through doors. She would not walk through them herself. This has led to some other challenges. She loves people, but if multiple people are around and someone tries to pet her, she pees. I have to put her leash on outside because she pees when you try to put the leash on.

She is super smart and learns things very quickly...but she loses focus when there is a distraction added. She has come a long way, but I think she needs someone that is more experienced and can give her more specialized training to help her be the loving dog that she wants to be. I live in a townhouse and I would prefer someone that has a good sized fenced in backyard. She loves to be outside and run! She also loves to play with other dogs.
