Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet FOZZIE Bear,
Fozzie Bear is living for now - until a perfect adoption home is found - on Orcas Island at the home of the founder of ADR.org.
AnimalDefense Rescue.org Founder assessment about Fozzie Bear's behavior is the following:
**he is a very mellow dog, interacts very well with other dogs (gender does not matter) as long as they do not show too much of an invasive behavior
** Fozzie Bear is not compatible at all with cats
** he is very patient, accepting being left alone for up to 5 hours but needs enough exercise, stimulation and quality time afterwards
** he needs continued structure, and discipline and he will continue to show you a devoted and loyal behavior - Fozzie Bear just wants to please and be around you
** he loves his extensive walks but you need to hold his leash tight in case he sees a deer or a cat or squirrel
ADR.org can see him well in a calmer home with or without another dog where he can finally become the center point of the family as he so deserves.
Fozzie weights about 55lbs, is approx. 6-7 . fully vaccinated, altered and microchipped. If you want to meet him you are welcome to do so here on Orcas Island. meetings can be arranged.
ADR.org offers a foster period before to help you to get to know him better.
Please contact ADR@animaldefenserescue.org to receive an application as well as to have a first phone conversation with the founder of ADR.org.
