My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everyone. My name is Raven. My rescue story is pretty funny. In fact, I take credit for rescuing myself! You see, one day I stumbled upon this open box thing with food in it. I decided to go in and have a snack. When I came out there was a person there. I ran right up and rolled over for her to give me a belly rub. Instead, she grabbed me and put me in a carrier and took me to the vet. That’s not how I anticipated things would go. It turns I ran right up to a person that rescues cats and the cool box with food was a trap that wasn’t set. The person was trying to catch a neighborhood cat that’s semi feral and she was trying to get him used to going in the trap. He’s a smart fellow and was sitting right next to it but wouldn’t go in. I like to think he was just being a gentleman and letting me have some food because I was hungry.

When I was at the vet they found out I wasn’t microchipped or spayed so they got me fixed right up. I’m now vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed so I won’t have any more babies. They think I’m around 2 years old. I’m super friendly and I love people. I didn’t mind the other cat in the yard so I think I might be ok with another cat. I haven’t met dogs yet.
