Elliot and his 3 siblings were born under a trailer to a pair of unsocialized dogs who had been abandoned after a move. We were called when the weather was so cold the current folks feared for their lives. They had found one puppy deceased and they believed he had frozen to death. They were filthy as well as covered in fleas and a huge number of extremely tiny ticks. They have been treated for fleas and ticks, wormed extensively and started on heartworm preventative. They will finish their final round of vaccinations on March the 1st and will be available shortly thereafter.
Their dad is a long haired Chihuahua, mom looked similar. Their hair is soft and downy. These are sweet sweet babies, who are wonderfully playful and also love to cuddle. A belly rub is their favorite thing. Their foster mom has been working on house training but they are puppies, they will require more work.
Due to their size, they will not be adopted into a family with children under 8 nor other animals over 20 pounds.
