ADOPTION PENDING
There are lots of sad stories and Dexter is one of them. You see, Dexter’s family just didn’t want him, and he spent most of his days in a crate. When a Good Samaritan overheard that his family was planning on dumping him along the road, she stepped in and brought him to us. After some medical care, a much needed but snazzy haircut and a whole lot of love he’s ready to move on to a new life. All he wants is a family who truly wants him in their home.

Dex just turned a year-old and has a lot of energy…although he never turns down a lap or a cuddle. Dexter is the definition of a "stinker". He’s got a joyful personality and gets very excited at little things…someone simply kindly calling his name makes him smile and tilt his head. He’s got a super cute side eye that will either make your heart melt or make you wonder what he’s up to. He eats up all our attention and is loving every minute of it.

Even though he did not receive a lot of love and nurturing, he is eager to please with training. He is picking up well on housebreaking now that he is learning our schedule. Not unlike most dogs, he may need some patience as he adjusts to the schedule in a new home. Dex has been neutered, microchipped and is going through his vaccination protocol.
