My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Almond is a beyond adorable young puppy who is settling into Rhode Island life nicely. She is sweet, smart, cooperative and playful, although she does have that independent Chow personality as well! Chow experienced homes would understand her well. She is a sweetheart who is food motivated, likes to learn and can take direction. Since she has settled from getting away from her stressful shelter experience, she seems to take new situations better all the time, but she is still learning and needs to build confidence. Those understanding the development stages of a puppy and have the time and inclination to work with a puppy and who can build her confidence and trust will be best suited. She is not a first time pet, but a charming puppy with much potential who deserves the opportunity to blossom and grow into the great dog she can become. Applications are available on our southpawsexpress.org website, or via contacting Lucy at maramuser@gmail.com.
