My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stout is a sweet little 5-lb., 3-month old Beagle/Dachshund mix with a loving personality. He got his name because he is short, stout and adorable! He loves to play with just about anything he can get his teeth on: toys, dog bone chews, bully sticks, or better yet … he enjoys wrestling with his brother, Porter! Stout gets along well with other dogs, cats, and people. As with most puppies, he is very active but after all his energy spent he loves nothing more than to be carried around or cuddled by his humans … Stout has no problem with handing out wet puppy kisses either! He has gone on a few outings so far and is still getting used to the leash, but seems to enjoy going on walks. He is potty-pad trained and will need more training on doing his business outside. Stout is looking for a forever home where he will be a forever loved and respected member of the family.
