Hello. My name is Apollo and like so many other orphans, my story is sad, yet very common. My parents are losing their home and can't take me with them. For six years - since they adopted me as a wee pup - I've lived a wonderful life. I am a mellow, totally housebroken, wiggly Boxer-boy who loves to sunbathe in the yard and hang out with my family. What they say about Boxers is true: we follow you EVERYWHERE, but I can chill alone too.
I do not need a ton of exercise, but I love a casual stroll around the neighborhood. Did I mention that I love people? I love other dogs and adore children too. I've never been around cats. And guess what? I had a special admirer who loved Boxer dogs, he lived near me and he was a movie star. Yep, it's true! He told me I was so handsome; he loved to pet and love on me. I would see him on my walks - I'm very good on leash - and when my parents found out we were losing our home, they contacted him and asked him if he knew anyone who would want to adopt me and give me a wonderful home. He did not know of anyone who wanted to adopt a Boxer but he told my family about his good friend, Leegie; how she helps dogs and just like that, he called Leegie and asked for her help and I now have my photo and bio on the internet! And that movie star that admired me? Well, he is now a shining star above. My true guardian angel. And I know in my cute Boxer heart, he's still going to do everything he can to help me find the perfect, loving home, even though he is just a little bit farther away now... Anyway, that's my story. I sure hope to meet you soon. You won't be sorry if you adopt me.
