Here's what the humans have to say about me:
At just under 2 years old, sweet girl JoJo was found in a garden in Shiraz, Iran, where she was clearly scared, physically abused, and neglected. In particular, she was afraid of men, but despite her fear, she never growled or barked. Instead she was just timid and would try to hide. She’s come a long away since arriving in the States and spending quality time being loved and cared for in her foster home in SF Bay Area.
JoJo is great with cats and other dogs, interacting with them nicely. She’s a curious and loving girl who is just starting to come out of her shell and show her true sweet personality. She loves gentle head rubs and outdoor adventures like hiking and long walks. She is crate-trained and sees the crate as her safe space, where she retreats when she needs alone time or is feeling unsure. JoJo improves and learns to trust more and more each day. This sweet, kind girl will be an amazing pup for a family who shows her patience and love.
