Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mija is 4 years old and about 10 pounds. Mija came to us from a hoarding situation and has successfully learned how to adapt in a healthy home. Mija has never agreed to being crated during the day. She escapes and will need to be crated in a heavy duty kennel. However she does prefer to sleep in her crate at night. Mija loves her people, but she is not a cuddler. She tends to mingle with the other animals in the home and she is not comfortable being around young children. She is slow to introductions with new people and I would not expect immediate connections. Expectations for this to change will come in time as she learns that people mean her no harm. She loves the outdoors and gets really excited about her walks. Mija has been going through some healing while at her foster home. She hasn't had much exposure walking on the leash and is not fully housebroken, so extended training would be needed. As far as housebreaking goes she is 10% away of being fully trained.
Mija is spay/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, heartworm tested and on prevention. Adoption fee for Mija is $275. If you are interested in adopting Mija, please fill out an adoption application http://www.furgetusnotrescue.org/application.html .
