Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coco is a gorgeous 7 year old standard girl who weighs 22 pounds who is ready for her forever home. Standard dachshunds are mellow and loving and getting very difficult to find!
Coco gets along well with other dogs and well mannered, respectful children over the age of 6 years. A confident, happy girl, Coco is very playful and loves to engage with other dogs. A confident girl, Coco would love to be with her people all the time, but doesn’t show any signs of separation anxiety.
Coco does well in the car and is leash trained. Coco is loves to play with toys in her Florida foster home and like most dachshunds can be a toy destroyer! A cuddly girl, Coco loves to give and receive attention. Coco sleeps in her own dog bed by her foster family’s big bed and loves to be covered with a blanket.
Coco is house trained and insists that her person comes out with her at potty time! If she is put outside without her person, she will simply come back to the door and not go. Coco is such a good girl, she sleeps all night without waking up to need to go outside and will wait for her foster family to let her out in the morning. Like all dachshunds she will need to be confident in her environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important.
This sweet and loving girl is just waiting for her forever home. Are you going to be the lucky one to receive her special longdoglove?
