My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Currently in foster in Olympia, Washington. Quinn is about 18 mos 34 lbs. He is a Pomeranian/Lab mix. He and his brother were dumped on a highway. He can be shy and timid, but a great house mate that loves being with his humans. He will be your shadow. All he wants to do is please you. He is learning to walk on a leash. He will do best in a quiet calm house with middle aged/retired couple that like walks. He does like calm dogs and kids and nice cats, but will be just happy being only indoor dog with dog bed. He wears his expression in his head turns as he is a distemper survivor. He is healthy, but just has a slight head "twitches" that are only noticeable when stressed. Otherwise you'd never notice any difference b/w this cutie pie and any other dog! its very very minor!! If you are interested in adopting this sweet guy please email info@dogdiggityrescue.com

Important: If you are interested in this pup/dog, please fill out the application (link listed above). The rescue will contact you once the application is received. Although we strive to answer everyone, due to the high volume of inquiries we receive, we cannot guarantee a response to all emails. Filling out the application is the best way and ensures a response from the rescue. In addition, while you are emailing us, if others apply, you can lose out adopting the dog you chose. We have hundreds and hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. However, if you are applying or have applied anywhere else, we do need to know that. If we approve your application to adopt a dog/pup and you do not, there is a $25 cancellation fee which goes towards our much needed medical fund.

A note about pricing: Puppy adoption fees can be generally $495, some are higher, on occasion some might be even as low as $350. Some pups/dogs have more flexible adoption fees. It can even depend just on the foster availability. Adult dog adoption fees vary, but generally start at $395 and go up or down from there depending on the dog. and can often be flexible, it all depends. Our adoption fees cover the cost of transportation from Texas and the necessary health certificate documentation. The fees also include all medical costs to make sure the pups are appropriately vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and spayed/ neutered. Additionally, any dogs over 6 months have had a negative heart-worm test. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and a myriad of other vetting. If the adoption fees seem high (which never cover the true cost of rescue), we recommend fostering for a good rescue. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees. We are always in need of good fosters. We are all volunteers and many of us donate 70+ hours/week and thousands/year of our own funds. WA and OR shelters are funded by taxpayers, hence, many have lower adoption fees.

Shayne's rescue is a few foster parents in the Olympia/Tumwater area. We foster dogs that rescues ask us to foster and let those rescues use this site to list those pups/dogs and rehome them. We donate all of our time, food, monies to assist in getting these dogs forever homes. We are not responsible for any experience you have with any dog you might see posted on this site. They are the property, if you will, of the rescue they come from and all paperwork and vet work you will receive when you adopt and it will have all that information for you. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. Since worldwide over 1/2 billion puppies/dogs are PTS yearly and over 9,000/day just in U.S. shelters, yes even entire litters of puppies are PTS daily in many US shelters☹..Hence, we firmly believe there is NO breed other than rescue for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
