We agreed to temporarily house Sully in July 2018 with the hope that he would be a permanent member of the family. But after 9 months of patience, and training, he's wasn't able to handle living with our other dog who we've had since '14. So we're regretfully trying to find a new home for him where he will be more happy getting all the attention and not having to share.
Sully is a 7 year old, super sweet, super cuddly buddy that needs to be the only dog in the house. He's good when interacting with other dogs on walks, as he's not aggressive. He's perfectly content to lay on the couch or outside in the grass and has never once gotten into anything in the house he shouldn't (e.g., he doesn't try to get into the garbage, or chew on anything he's not supposed to).
The previous foster home thinks he was abused and/or neglected when he was younger, as he can be a little skittish if he hears loud noises (even if they're positive - like when you get excited about a football or hockey game).
