My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flower is a 12 lb, 5 year old female Shih Tzu. She appears purebred, but no guarantees. She is spayed, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned. Her owner could no longer care for her, so she came to RoRescue to find a "forever" home. She came in with her friend BAM BAM, a male 8 lb 6 year old Maltese. In one of the pictures, Flower is telling BamBam a very funny joke as they saunter thru the garden.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in adopting FLOWER, you need to complete on the adoption application on this site. Applications are time-sensitive, so don't delay. An inquiry without an application will delay the process. FLOWER's adoption fee is $400.

FLOWER's PERSONALITY: This girl is the typical "couch potato" ShihTzu. She love to cuddle and tolerates the antics of her happy-go-lucky BAM BAM, friend. We are not sure how she is with children, but she is a very tolerant girl. She gets along well with other dogs and cats are OK too. She seems housetrained, but RoRescue rarely guarantees this issue.

RORESCUE WANTS for FLOWER: This girl is a treasure. She loves to go on short drives; she loves to take walks and loves to sit in your lap getting a massage. Shih tzu rarely need much obedience training and don't generally do tricks, but Doggie School would be interesting. We always encourage Doggie School because it builds the bond with the owner and confidence with the dog.

All RoRescue dogs are UTD on shots, Micro chipped and spayed/neutered. Full Blood Panels are NOT customarily performed, unless illness indicates or veterinarian suggested.

RoRescue adopts only INDOOR pets. We do NOT adopt to out-of area or out of state locations.

RoRescue's job is to find the best suited home for their rescue dogs habits and personalities. Many times there are multiple GREAT applicants for one dog. Please understand that only one adopter can be the chosen adopter.
