My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petey is a very sweet boy who had a very rough last few months. Petey was abandoned by his "family" & left to fend for himself on the streets in a very unsafe neighborhood. Petey survived on his own eating from trash cans & drinking water from puddles while dodging traffic & avoiding the fast trains. He became extremely fearful of people which made it very difficult for us to get him safe but our team of dedicated dog lovers didn't give up on him! Now that Petey is in a foster home he is thriving! Petey is very affectionate & well mannered. He knows all of the basic commands, is fully house trained, & crate trained. Petey is social with other dogs, friendly with cats, & loves children! He is a tiny guy for his breed & isn't even as tall as my knees!
