Hi there everyone, my name is STARBUCK. I'm a 4 yr old 28lb Terrier boy who is looking for a quiet home away from the city. I was previously adopted but unfortunately my owner who loved me very much has passed away so Just Paws is on the hunt for a new family for me. So some things about me, I love my humans very much and I get along well with my foster fur sister who is low energy. I love going for walks with my foster mom and getting treats etc. I'm already house trained, up to date with my shots and neutered.
Now here's where you maybe wondering why I need an experienced adopter. I do get some anxiety and can get worked up when I meet other dogs. I'm on a long term medication and working with a wonderful trainer to help me stay calm and not get too overwhelmed. I just need a minute or two alone to myself and I'm ok afterwards. I would be ok to live by myself as the only pet or with another calm dog. I'm a polite gentleman who waits for you to invite me up on the couch and bed. Fair be warned tho, once you pet me, you're committing yourself to a cuddle session! I'm a total lap dog!
I'm looking for a house with a fenced in yard, someone who can hang out with me a lot and take me for lots of walks. I would need a home away from the city, as the hustle and bustle and all the noise would just be too much for me. My foster mom also hopes that she get visitation/dog sitting rights as she loves me so so much!
