Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tulip is a 8 month old spayed female AKC Yellow Labrador. She is a petite Labrador. Tulip has had a very rough start. Her previous owners had no idea how to train a puppy, so they sent an already timid pup out to stay with two very harsh trainers. The owners were told to use an electric collar on her and not to take it off. So, Tulip is not going to be for a first time dog owner family. She still lacks confidence/trust. She'll need fair guidance and someone that has some dog behavioral experience.
Tulip is all puppy. She'd probably do best in a home with another confident dog that enjoys playing( a lot). Tulip is VERY active and will need a LARGE fenced yard and plenty of interaction. She is very well minded and will do anything to please once she trusts her caregiver. She uses a dog door, rides well in a car(but still a little nervous about loading). She LOVES her toys, water, children, to go for walks and to play with the resident goat. She is not a chewer! If you would like to find out more about Tulip please go to FourPeaksAnimalRescue.org and fill out a adoption application. Thank you for your inquiry.
